Patients who have severe knee arthritis in both knees may be good candidates to undergo bilateral total knee replacement. In general, there are two types of bilateral knee replacement surgery:
• Simultaneous Bilateral Knee Replacement
A simultaneous procedure means that both knees are replaced at the same surgery, in one day.
• Staged Bilateral Knee Replacement
A staged procedure means that the knees are both replaced, but not on the same day. The second surgery may be performed as early as several days after the initial surgery, or several weeks or months later.

Your movement may be restricted into some feet of a room. You have to find a suitable place where you can get all your daily need easily without moving from one place to another. For example, you should have attach bathroom .Food should be serve within that room any other entertainment facility like TV, Computer, music system will available in that room ,so that you do not need to move long hallways, high stairs or other obstacles to get any services. The room where you stay should be obstacles free or must have clear spaces to easy navigation.
